Mariah Carey announces Las Vegas residency concerts

Las Vegas continues to be a major city for major artists to hold residency concerts in, as seen with Usher and Adele, over the past year. Meanwhile, Mariah Carey is now the latest to announce shows that will be held in Vegas.

On Tuesday, Carey announced her “The Celebration of Mimi” Live in Las Vegas residency concerts. This will kick off on April 12, as eight shows will be available. The final one will take place on April 27. Moreover, all of them will be held inside Dolby Live, which is at the Park MGM resort.

Mariah Carey announcing these Las Vegas residency concerts also comes as she dominated the holiday season with streaming, yet again. This is due to her 1990 “All I Want For Christmas Is You” record continuing to go viral and dominating, whenever Christmas nears, every year. In November, Carey also ventured on her “Merry Christmas One And All!” Tour, which contained 13 dates in total. That began on November 15 in Highland, CA, and wrapped up on December 17, in New York City.
