Meek Mill always does amazing things for the community such as taking on social justice issues in America along with giving back to his hometown of Philadelphia. On Friday, he was at his old elementary school, James G. Blaine Elementary, to give out 500 backpacks to students, per TMZ.
This event was in partnership with Puma as Meek also gave teachers 30 classroom packs to make sure the necessary supplies were there for this school year. Meek helped out this elementary school in a major way in 2018 as well as he gave out 6,000 backpacks. He also helped renovate a basketball court in his old North Philadelphia neighborhood.
