On Saturday night, Beyoncé held the first of two straight nights of concerts in her hometown of Houston, which are part of her Renaissance World Tour. These two concerts are taking place inside NRG Stadium, which is home to the NFL’s Houston Texans.

As a result, the first Houston concert featured Beyoncé performing hits from her Billboard 200 chart-topping “Renaissance,” album, as well as other classics. Moreover, Bey also brought out another Houston superstar to perform with her.

This was Megan Thee Stallion, as she and Beyoncé performed their 2020 Billboard Hot 100 chart-topping “Savage” collaboration. In fact, this was the first time that the two ever performed the song together, in-person. This remix was initially released in April of 2020, a month after the original version, which appeared on Meg’s “Suga” EP.

Furthermore, Megan coming to perform in Houston with Beyoncé came after a scheduling conflict. She was initially supposed to perform at the Global Citizen Festival in New York City’s Central Park, but ultimately went on to head to Houston for Bey’s concert and joining her on stage to perform.
