Megan Thee Stallion explains how she paid $250,000 for Future feature on “Pressurelicious” [VIDEO]

Megan Thee Stallion says she paid $250k for Future collaboration

On Friday, Megan Thee Stallion released her surprise sophomore album, “Traumazine.” This was led by singles such as “Plan B” and “Pressurelicious” featuring Future. Megan also collaborated with Latto, Lucky Daye, Pooh Shiesty, Jhené Aiko, Rico Nasty, and more.

In a recent interview with the LA Leakers, Megan discussed the collaboration with Future, and how it came about. Both were in Miami, and she needed $250,000 to pay Future’s feature price. Meg soon got with her team, to discuss how quickly they can go get the $250k.

“It’s a really crazy story… I recorded it one way, and I was like, ‘You know what? This would really sound hard if Future was on it.’ Being a woman in the industry, reaching out to a man trying to get a feature is always going to be a task. You don’t know what to expect. I was like, ‘Okay bet… somebody go pull $250,000 out the bank and go drop it off to Future.”
