Megan Thee Stallion granted retraining order against 1501 Certified Entertainment and 300 Entertainment, to prevent them from not allowing her music to be used at American Music Awards, after she was allegedly threatened

Megan Thee Stallion has dealt with a myriad of issues at her record label, 1501 Certified Entertainment. This dates back to March 2020, when they attempted to prevent her from releasing new music. As a result, Megan had to get a judge to grant her permission, to release her “Suga” EP.

This year, 1501 and CEO Carl Crawford have also been taking legal action, to try to get Megan to release more projects as albums. They even claimed that her 2021 “Something For Thee Hotties” project was a mixtape.

However, Megan has scored another legal victory, against 1501. According to documents obtained by TMZ, she has been granted a restraining order against 1501 and 300 Entertainment.

Therefore, Megan claims that 1501 made “threatening and retaliatory” moves, in an attempt to block her music from being used at the upcoming American Music Awards, this weekend. She is also nominated for Favorite Female Hip-Hop Artist. Another hearing for this case is two days after the AMAs, which likely won’t mean anything then, considering that the awards show had been over, by then.

Megan continues to dominate, even amid label drama. She put out her sophomore album, “Traumazine,” this fall, as that went on to debut at number four on the Billboard 200 chart.
