Over the past decade, Metro Boomin has been one of the biggest producers in the music industry. He’s worked with some of the biggest stars in the game, such as Future, 21 Savage, Drake, and much more.

Metro’s list of hits is also massive, and many of these are now part of a $70 million sale of his catalog, according to TMZ. This was as a result of a deal done with Shamrock Capital, as it was made official on Tuesday. Therefore, the records included in this sale are Migos’ “Bad and Boujee” featuring Lil Uzi Vert, Post Malone’s “Congratulations” single with Quavo, and The Weeknd’s “Heartless.” These all were number one records in the US, on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

The sale of a portion of Metro’s catalog comes after he released his second studio album, “Heroes & Villains,” in December. That saw a number number one debut in the US, on the Billboard 200 chart. 15 songs were released, including collaborations with Future, Travis Scott, 21 Savage, Young Thug, Chris Brown, and more.

Heroes & Villians was Metro’s third straight number one overall album. His debut “Not All Heroes Wear Capes” was released in 2018, and his joint album “Savage Mode II” with 21 Savage was released in 2020.
