The Miami Heat have made a lot of history, this season. They are the first team to go from the Play-In to the NBA Finals. However, the fans are saying this won’t happen. Instead, they are predicting the Heat will win three straight games to win the title in Game 7 in Denver.
Led by Bam Adebayo and Jimmy Butler, the Miami Heat have stunned the NBA. First, they slipped into the play-in. After that, the Heat lost their first game to the Atlanta Hawks. When they made the playoffs, they faced the Milwaukee Bucks in the first round. Not only did the Bucks have the East’s best record, but they also have the NBA’s best record. However, the Heat ended the Bucks’ season in five games. In the time since, Jimmy Butler’s play has gotten worse each series.
Since Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals, the Miami Heat have struggled. After going up 3-0 on the Boston Celtics, the Heat have posted a 2-6 record. The Heat got into the NBA Finals and they even took home court advantage from the Denver Nuggets. It seems that only activated the Nuggets’ core of Jokic, Murray, Gordon, and Porter, Jr. As a result, the Nuggets lead Miami 3-1, with a chance to win the title tonight.
