Mother beats raccoon who attacked her five year old daughter
It’s often said that there is nothing a mother won’t do for her child. Most of the time, that sentiment remains true. However, when parenting a small child, it is important to give them their independence, as well. One Connecticut woman was doing just that, when the unthinkable happened. Seeing how her daughter has reached five years of age, she allows her to go outside and wait for the bus. One morning, her daughter wound up the victim of a raccoon attack. As a result, the mother sprang into action.
As a parent, the job is never truly done. There are so many dangers in the world, so a parent is always worried about their child. Even something as simple as a child waiting on the bus can be dangerous. A small risk is run of a predator picking up on the schedule and doing something nefarious. At the same time, the child could be the victim of a hit and run. So many things can happen, but an animal attack is usually one of the least likeliest of thoughts.
However, for Logan Kelsey MacNamara, this is exactly what happened. While her daughter was waiting for the bus, a raccoon ended up getting ahold of her. Obviously, this led to the little girl going into a panic. After all, she was getting bitten, among other injuries. As a result, MacNamara grabbed the animal, beat it, and then flung it. After the attack, both the woman and her child were taken to the hospital for rabies shots.
