Mozzy has reportedly been released early from his 1-year prison sentence

Mozzy reportedly released early from prison

Last summer, Mozzy turned himself in, to serve a 1-year prison sentence. This stemmed from federal firearms charges that he’d previously been facing. However, it appears that the Sacramento rapper has been released, two months early.

According to records from USP Atwater Prison, Mozzy was reportedly released on May 4. It’s unclear what assisted Mozzy in being able to come home early, but this is definitely a massive win for him. Meanwhile, he still hasn’t addressed this released on social media, just yet.

Last month, Mozzy went on to release his 6-track “Kollect Kall” EP. That project also included collaborations with YFN Lucci, Celly Ru, and more. This comes after Mozzy released his “Survivor’s Guilt” album last July, shortly after turning himself in. He also featured Saweetie, 42 Dugg, EST, and much more on that project. That was Mozzy’s first project while signed to Yo Gotti’s CMG record label.

Furthermore, Mozzy has been one of the biggest artists to come out of Northern California since 2017, as he’s consistently released projects every year, since then. Mozzy initially signed to CMG in February of 2022, as Gotti has built an impressive roster, which also includes GloRilla, 42 Dugg, EST, and more.
