Nas Announces Sequel To 2020 “King’s Disease” Album, Coming on August 6

Last year, Nas put out his first album in over three years, with “King’s Disease.” That project ended up being one of the biggest albums of the year, as it debuted at number five on the Billboard 200 chart, and also won a Grammy for Best Rap Album at the 2021 GrAMMYs. This was Nas’ first ever Grammy win.

King’s Disease contained 13 tracks in total, with collabs from A$AP Ferg, Big Sean, Foxy Brown, Lil Durk, and more. The lead singles was “Ultra Black,” feat. Hit-Boy, which seemed to many as having a Doja Cat diss in it. “Spicy” feat. A$AP Ferg and Fivio Foreign was also another banger. Overall, King’s Disease was viewed as a hip-hop masterpiece to fans.

Now, the hip-hop legend is returning with the sequel to King’s Disease, a little over a year after the original release date. Nas took to Instagram this afternoon, to announce that “King’s Disease 2” will be released on August 6.

“We’re back in business!” said Nas on Instagram. “King’s Disease II • 8/6”
