Last week, it was revealed that Lil Durk and NBA Youngboy squashed their beef that’s been ongoing since 2020. This was stated by Akademiks, during his live Twitch stream. However, both Durk and Youngboy subliminally said on their social media feeds, that this isn’t the case.

As a result, Youngboy is planning to release a mixtape on the same day as Lil Durk’s “Almost Healed” album, this Friday. As a result, the title of YB’s project still hasn’t been unveiled yet, but his team confirmed online, that this tape is arriving this week.

This comes after YB released his second project of the year, in April. That was his “Don’t Try This At Home” album, which was led by his “WTF” single, featuring Nicki Minaj.

Meanwhile, Durk has also been getting a lot of hype on social media lately, due to teasing his upcoming collaboration with J. Cole. He initially announced this collab at Cole’s Dreamville Fest in April, and the two also recently shot the video for it. The name of this track has yet to be announced, though.
