Nicki Minaj becomes most awarded rapper in #AMAs history, after receiving award for Favorite Female Hip-Hop Artist

Nicki Minaj becomes most awarded rapper ever at AMAs
The 2022 American Music Awards are currently being held in Los Angeles, as many of the winners are already being revealed. One of them is for Favoring Female Hip-Hop Artist, as Nicki Minaj was a heavy favorite to win this one.
However, Nicki has now officially been confirmed as the winner of this AMA. She has also made history, as being the most awarded rapper in AMAs history. This is with nine total wins.
Nicki has had a very strong 2022, as she’s been extremely consistent. This includes the release of singles such as “Bussin” with Lil Baby, “Do We Have A Problem” featuring Lil Baby, “We Go Up” with Fivio Foreign and “Super Freaky Girl.” Super Freaky Girl went on to debut at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and is the highest charting solo rap song by a female artist, since Lauryn Hill’s “Doo Wop (That Thing)” in 1998.
As a result, fans also hope that this consistency by Nicki means that her next album is finally coming soon. It’s been a very long time since her last project, as that was her “Queen” album in August 2018.
