Nicki Minaj ends Kanye West beef rumors during VMAs speech

Nicki Minaj had her own Steph Curry moment, in 2022, with “Super Freaky Girl.” Despite Nicki Minaj being so accomplished, critics would point out her not having a Billboard Hot 100 number one single, as a lead solo artist. Like Curry winning his first Finals MVP, in 2022, Nicki Minaj eliminated all criticism about charts, when “Super Freaky Girl” debuted at number one. In fact, Nicki was only the second female rapper to ever debut at number one. So, when MTV gave her the Video Vanguard, at the VMAs, Nicki Minaj was very thankful. Earlier this year, Nicki was rumored to be upset with Kanye West. She also ended those talks, when she shouted him out, and thanked him.
