Nicki Minaj, Ice Spice and more to be on “Barbie” soundtrack
The new “Barbie” film is set to be released on July 21, as anticipation for this has been building for over a year now. Margot Robbie will star as Barbie, and Barbie’s boyfriend Ken will be played by Ryan Gosling. Robbie appeared to be a surprising choice to play the role of Barbie, but she is set to shine on this massive role.
Meanwhile, the official Barbie soundtrack will also be released on the same day as the film. Therefore, this morning, the list of artists featured on this project were officially unveiled. This was exclusively obtained by Rolling Stone. The poster with the featured artists also displays Margot Robbie reading it, in the form of a newspaper.
As a result, the Barbie soundtrack is nothing short of star-studded. Among the artists set to be featured are Nicki Minaj, Kali, Ice Spice, Dua Lipa, Lizzo, and much more. Mark Ronson is also the executive producer of the soundtrack. The current lead single for the Barbie soundtrack will be “Dance The Night” by Dua Lipa, which is now available.
