Offset teases new solo album coming, as he says he’s in “album mode”

Offset says he’s working on new album

Offset has been releasing solo music again, since last fall, following the split of Migos, earlier in 2022. The Atlanta rapper went on to put out records such as “5431” and “Code” featuring Moneybagg Yo. This past January, Offset also linked up with Hit-Boy to release their “2 Live” single.

However, it looks like an Offset album is coming soon. He’s now taken to his Instagram stories to reveal that he’s in “album mode.”

Offset previously released a solo album in early 2019, which was “Father Of 4.” That project was led by the hit single “Clout,” which featured his wife Cardi B. Father Of 4 went on to debut at number four in the US, on the Billboard 200 chart. That was also the same year that other members of Migos released solo albums.

However, Offset has also been grieving, while recording new music. This is due to the death of Takeoff, in November, as a result of a shooting that took place outside of a Houston bowling alley. Offset was also understandably very emotional at Takeoff’s funeral, in Atlanta.

Last month, Offset was also honored in Atlanta for his philanthropical work, as well as his contributions to the music industry. February also saw he and Cardi launch their “Cardi B and Offset Meal” at McDonald’s, as they also received two McDonald’s commercials.
