Omarion was expected to easily win this Verzuz battle, when Mario was announced as the competitor. In his career, Omarion had more hits than Mario. Plus, Omarion was a part of B2K, long before he went solo. However, none of that takes away from what Mario has accomplished.
Omarion has a unique style. While Mario is a gifted vocalist, Omarion is a talented dancer. In addition to dancing, Omarion knows how to make good records. However, some would argue that Mario would have been a bigger star if his team was similar to Omarion’s.
Omarion got into the Verzuz battle with Mario and it was clear this one would not be easy. Instead, Mario came out with the theatrics, sending shots at Omarion and B2K. Hilariously, Omarion shaded B2K before the Verzuz battle even began. While Omarion tried to shade Mario, there was nothing he could do. Once it was clear that Mario was going to win the Verzuz battle, Omarion resorted to insults. Omarion ended up calling Mario fat. As a result, Omarion became targeted on Twitter, and accused of fat shaming.
