In 2023, Outkast is still recognized as one of the most iconic hip-hop groups in history. Moreover, group members Big Boi and Outkast in general have been one of the greatest artists of all-time, in general, in the aftermath of their success in the 1990s and 2000s.

Meanwhile, one of Outkast’s most iconic albums has reached another major milestone. According to Chart Data, “Speakerboxxx/The Love Below” is now the highest certified rap album in RIAA history. This comes after reaching the 13x platinum mark.

Speakerboxxx/The Love Below served as Outkast’s fifth studio album. Furthermore, it was led by hit singles such as “Hey Ya!,” “The Way You Move,” and more. 21 songs were released on this project, and also included appearances from Kelis and actress Rosario Dawson.

Outkast’s last album as a group came way back in August 2006, which was “Idlewild.” Earlier this year, there were rumors that Andre 3000 would have a solo album coming soon, according to Atlanta legend, Killer Mike. However, he claimed that he was simply joking about this possibility, much to the disappointment of fans. This comes as Andre continues to travel across the wold, and plays his flute.
