Pharrell partners with Lego for “Piece By Piece” biopic about his life

Pharrell to release biopic about himself in Lego film

Pharrell continues to become one of the most iconic artists, over the last 20 years. As a result, a film about his life is also coming this fall. Moreover, it will even be told in Lego form, according to Variety.

Moreover, Pharrell will be displayed as a Lego character in this film, as it’s titled  “Piece by Piece.” Fans will be able to catch it in theaters on October 11. Pharrell initially came up with the idea for this biopic, five years ago.

“Uninterested in making a traditional film about his life, Pharrell set out to tell his story in a way that would set audience’s imaginations free,” stated in a press release about the film. Developed from his singular vision, ‘Piece by Piece’ defies genres and expectations to transport audiences into a Lego world where anything is possible.”

“Pharrell Williams is a true trailblazer whose influence across music, art and fashion continually reshapes global culture with an undeniable sense of joy,” added Focus Features chairman Peter Kujawski. “In partnering with the inimitable Morgan Neville and the limitless creativity of the Lego brand his visionary spirit comes to life in a wholly unique and uplifting way that will inspire everyone to dance, to sing, and to use their voice to build the world they want to see, brick by brick, and piece by piece.”

Pharrell has been making major moves in fashion as well, as he became the men’s creative director at Louis Vuitton, in 2023. Earlier this month, LeBron James also modeled in Pharrell’s debut clothing collection for the brand.
