One of the leading names in R&B is Pleasure P, who first rose to fame almost ten years ago with Pretty Ricky. They dominated the mid-2000s and Pleasure P went solo in 2008-2009 and scored a hit with “Did You Wrong.” However, Pleasure P had a bigger hit with the “Boyfriend #2” single.
Recently, Pleasure P has returned to the spotlight with his Break Up To Make Up mixtape with DJ Clue. This tape has a renewed energy and focus on Pleasure P, who dropped the tape last month on Valentine’s Day. The “Letter To My Ex” single is currently doing well.
A new album from Pleasure P is due later this year, but Sway invited him to his show, “Sway In The Morning,” on Shade 45 in the meantime. Here, Pleasure P talked about the Break Up To Make Up mixtape. Pleasure P discussed doing love songs, as opposed to doing the turn-up R&B songs singers are currently doing.
