The ongoing issues with police brutality have led to a lot of discussion. It’s become a political debate, with people on each side of the aisle blaming the other for even being in trouble. However, while people debate, the problem persists. In Alabama, a man was changing the tire on his truck, when a cop stopped, and then things got ugly. While the job of an officer of the law is to protect and serve, this officer ended up tasering the man, forcing him to cry.
Over the past decade, plus, many cops have been caught abusing their powers. This has led to an increase in calls for police reform. In addition, it’s sparked the kinds of debates not seen in well over fifty years. What happens in situations like these is that more division is sparked among citizens. Despite of anyone’s belief system, their neighbors are still their neighbors. As a result, what impacts one person will impact the entire community.
Yesterday, a video began trending, showing a disturbing scene in Alabama. A man was fixing a flat tire on his truck, when a female cop pulled up. While the man probably didn’t need any help, he likely expected the cop to offer her services. Instead, the woman ended up forcing the man face down on the highway. After that, she forced him on the hood of his truck. The man warned her that he had a gun, and she took it from him. After that, she began tasering him, until he began to cry.
