Pooh Shiesty’s lawyer says his net worth is over $3.4 million
Pooh Shiesty has been incarcerated at a Miami jail, since Memorial Day weekend 2021. That came after the Memphis rapper ended up shooting someone at the King Of Diamonds strip club in Miami. This landed Shiesty in even more hot water, as he was already arrested in October 2020, for shooting someone in an alleged drug deal gone wrong.
Shiesty is currently facing eight years in prison, after originally facing 20. However, it got lowered to eight, after he plead guilty to one one count of conspiracy to possess a firearm in furtherance of violent and drug-trafficking crimes. The maximum sentence is between 37-46 months.
According to Complex, Shiesty’s net worth has also been revealed. These are in new court documents obtained by his defense lawyer, Brad Cohen. Shiesty’s net worth is reportedly $3,449,446.
However, Cohen also claims that the pre-sentence report issued by the Southern District of Florida, is “illogical.” This is due to the belief that it contains many mistakes. That came after Shiesty is being accused of shooting “a known drug dealer who knew him well and could easily identify him.”
As for why that October 2020 shooting occurred, Shiesty was seeking “a few hundred-dollar drug deal for personal use.” In that moment, Shiesty also allegedly possessed $40,912.
“With that said, the Government wants this Court to believe Mr. Williams, with a net worth of $3,449,446, planned a robbery, then committed a robbery, and then shot a known drug dealer who knew him well and could easily identify him,” the documents stated. “There is no evidence of Mr. Williams involvement in a robbery. There is no audio or even texts discussing a robbery. No drugs or weapons were seized or recovered by law enforcement from Bay Harbor. There are no cooperators in this case. There are no statements of co-defendants. It would be illogical for Mr. Williams to stage a robbery by two other individuals over something so miniscule as a bottle of liquid codeine with a retail value of a few hundred dollars, at most, when any damage done to the McLaren in the process would have cost thousands of dollars to repair.”
Shiesty was originally identified by police, after matching the serial number on the money left at the scene of the shooting, to the money that he was flashing on Instagram. Last week, a viral photo surfaced of what appeared to be Shiesty, posing with several inmates.
