It’s been a little over three years, since the world lost another rising star in Pop Smoke. He was initially shot and killed at his Airbnb in Hollywood Hills in 2020, in a robbery attempt-turned-murder. At the time, Smoke was one of the hottest rappers out of New York, and buzzing with hits such as “Dior” and “Welcome To The Party.” 12 days before his death, Smoke also released his “Meet The Woo 2″ mixtape.

The last time that fans received new music from Smoke, was when his second studio album and his second posthumous album, “Faith,” was released in July 2021, on Smoke’s birthday. That project went on to become Smoke’s second straight number one album.

Meanwhile, many fans still want more unreleased music from Smoke, as it’s been almost two years. The last verse heard by Smoke was on Tyga’s 2022 “Sunshine” single, with Jhené Aiko. As a result, Smoke’s manager and producer, Rico Beats, is now speaking out.

In a conversation on Instagram, Rico revealed that no more unreleased Pop Smoke music is in the stash. He added that 99% of the music was released posthumously wasn’t something that Smoke would’ve approved of.
