Potential juror in Young Thug’s RICO trial sentenced to three days in jail after recording court proceedings

Potential juror in Young Thug trial jailed for recording court

Young Thug’s RICO case was supposed to begin in January, but has since been stalled as a result of jury selection days. As a result, that continues to be ongoing, this week.

On Monday, the Atlanta-Journal Constitution reported that a potential juror was sentenced to three days in jail. This was as a result of recording court proceedings, on March 17. This was done by Judge Glanville.

The juror was identified as a woman who made a brief video inside the courtroom, on her phone. She went on to claim that this was her first time at jury selection, and didn’t realize how strict the phone rule was. However, Judge Glanville emphasized that he firmly laid out the rules that needed to be abide by.

Another crazy development regarding this case in court came in January, when one of Thug’s co-defendants was seen handing the rapper a Percocet. The man was identified as Kahlieff Adams. Adams was soon searched by authorities, and was found with Percocet, marijuana and tobacco wrapped in plastic and food seasonings. He was also taken to Grady hospital, after eating some of the drugs to avoid being caught with them.
