When “Love & Hip Hop Miami” premiered, it got a different reaction from all the other shows in the franchise. The Miami-based show actually showed people dealing with love AND hip hop. This is something the other shows don’t show much of.

Fans also loved seeing Trick Daddy, Trina, Pretty Ricky, and Gunplay, real Miami artists, being on the show. However, it was the newcomers that led the show. People couldn’t help but love Bobby Lytes, the openly gay rapper, but also had questions about Prince, questioning him.

Throughout the season, Prince had his fair share of women, but people kept questioning if he was gay. It got so bad that Bobby Lytes ended up speaking out on his behalf. But, on Instagram, Prince did say he was “fluid asf” and if that makes him gay to some, he understands.
