Pusha T & DJ Drama to releases Gansgta Grillz mixtape next year
This fall, DJ Drama released various Gangsta Grillz mixapes, with some of the biggest artists in the game. This was reminiscent of his 2000s and 2010s mixtape era, as he collaborated with Snoop Dogg, NBA Youngboy, Icewear Vezzo, Jeezy, and Dave East.
However, Drama has even more heat coming, in 2023. In a Twitter Space hosted by Brian “B. Dot” Miller on Friday, Drama and Pusha T revealed that they have a Gangsta Grillz mixtape coming together, sometime in 2023. This immediately lead to excitement from listeners, as Pusha also had a major year.
Back in the spring, Pusha put out his fourth studio album, “It’s Almost Dry.” That went on to debut at number one on the Billboard 200 chart, and became his first number one project. It’s Almost Dry was led by singles such as “Diet Coke” and “Neck & Wrist” featuring Jay Z and Pharrell Williams. 12 songs were available in total, as Pusha also collaborated with Kanye West, Lil Uzi Vert, Don Toliver, and more. It’s Almost Dry is also nominated for the 2023 Grammys, for the Best Rap Album award.
