One reason the new generation of hip hop is winning is because they pay homage to those who came before them. At SKE Records, this has been the case, as Q The Question often compares himself to Damon Dash and Trel Mack to Jay-Z. Equate their online hustle in 2012-2013 to Damon Dash and Jay-Z’s street hustle in 1995-1996.
The Philadelphia-bred duo have their own plans for hip hop, however. Q The Question has dominated the game for some time with his journalist background. Last summer, he felt the timing was right and the decision was made to bring Trel Mack back to the forefront and he has reclaimed his position in the game.
