Quinta Brunson and Lil Yachty to host and perform on “SNL”

Saturday Night Live has had some of the biggest celebrities host their late night show over the past 50 years, as well as bringing some of the biggest names to serve as musical guest performers. The show has just announced these spots for their April 1 episode, on social media while completing their latest show, on March 12.

Quinta Brunson is scheduled to host on April 1, as she has emerged as one of the biggest actresses in the industry, over the past two years. This is for her role on the popular “Abbott Elementary” series, on ABC. Brunson plays the role of Janine Teagues. She also created, executive produced, co-wrote the show. Abbott Elementary has been on the air since December 2021. Season 2 went on to air, last fall.

The musical guest performer for the April 1 episode of SNL will be Lil Yachty. This comes after he released his fifth studio album, “Let’s Start Here,” on January 27. Yachty experimented with much different sounds on this album, as he brought in a psychedelic rock genre to it.
