Because of the internet, it is easier than ever for artists to gain stardom and score hit records. Artists releasing songs online, however, doesn’t mean that they make the money they would have ten, plus, years ago. A lot has changed, but it led to Mighty Mike getting shine.
Although often overlooked, Baton Rouge has become a hotbed for hip hop talent. Currently, Kevin Gates is the face of the city, but Mighty Mike recently scored a hit. He delivered “Hit That Bit For The Gram” to much success.
Unfortunately, the street life caught up to him, earlier this week. The popular internet star ended up getting into it with a twenty-year-old man, named Richard Phillips, and he shot him in the chest on Tuesday. Yesterday, he was arrested for murder after the man died.
