Rick Ross tells Lloyd Banks he will check his new project out
Rick Ross holds the distinction of being the only rapper to get under 50 Cent’s skin. In 2009, Rick Ross was still only moderately successful. Because Ross was close to DJ Khaled, he and Fat Joe were close. This was at the height of 50 Cent and Fat Joe’s beef.
Rick Ross was becoming a big deal in the South. Having the co-sign from Fat Joe was huge for Ross. 50 Cent called Rick Ross out and warned him about being too close to Fat Joe and DJ Khaled. After the second warning, Rick Ross launched a random diss at 50 Cent, and just kept coming.
Rick Ross enlisted The Game, Fat Joe, Bang ‘Em Smurf, and Ja Rule in his tirade against 50 Cent. Along the way, Rick Ross even offered to sign some of the G-Unit roster. It’s no secret that 50 Cent and Lloyd Banks have had tension, over the years. Lloyd Banks actually left G-Unit Records, a couple of years ago. Banks is currently working on his first major post-G-Unit project. When it was shared, on social media, Rick Ross continued his taunting of 50 Cent, by telling the blog to tell Lloyd Banks that he will listen to his new tape, when it drops.
