Rihanna’s “ANTI” spends six full years on Billboard 200

It’s been a very long time, since Rihanna last released an album. The last one came all the way back in January 2016, with her eighth studio album, “ANTI.” At the time, it went on to debut at number five on the Billboard 200 chart.

ANTI is still one of the biggest Rihanna albums to date, as it has set a new charting milestone. According to Chart Data, it has now spent six full years on the Billboard 200. That now makes ANTI the first First album by a Black female artist, to reach this mark.

ANTI contained 16 tracks in total, and was led by singles such as “Work” featuring Drake, “Love On The Brain,” “Kiss It Better,” and “Needed Me.” Rihanna also featured SZA on “Consideration.”

Rihanna has also recently been in the spotlight, for her relationship with A$AP Rocky. The two have been dating since late 2020, as they also announced in January, that they are expecting their first child. This month though, A$AP got arrested, for a shooting that he was supposedly involved in, in November 2021. A$AP has since been released on $550,000 bail, and hasn’t been charged yet.
