Holding things down on the business end while Future dominated the mainstream, Rocko is preparing to retake his position in the game. Last time most heard from Rocko, he was pushing his “Imma Do Me” single. Five years have passed since then and Rocko is preparing his comeback.
Rocko signed with L.A. Reid’s Epic Records when he joined the label after leaving his role at Def Jam. During his Def Jam tenure, L.A. Reid signed Rocko and repeated his successful signing at Epic. Currently, a lot of focus is on Rocko due to the “U.E.N.O.” controversy with Rick Ross and the potential remix with Kendrick Lamar and Kanye West.
In New York City, Rocko made his media rounds and he ended up speaking with DJ Envy for Hip Hop Nation. Often overlooked in the media, Rocko is responsible for a few of the biggest current stars. During his interview with Hip Hop Nation, Rocko spoke on signing Future to his label, his relationship with Gucci Mane, and his new album, Seeing Is Believing.
