Russell Westbrook gets heckling fans kicked out of the game
Russell Westbrook has had a hard time since moving to Los Angeles, in 2021. Last season, Westbrook was blamed for the Los Angeles Lakers missing the postseason. As a result, the Lakers traded Russell Westbrook. Ultimately, he wound up playing in the same arena. Now, Westbrook is a member of the Los Angeles Clippers. However, Westbrook is still dealing with the same problems. Last night, during the Clippers’ game against the Sacramento Kings, Westbrook got some fans kicked out of that game.
Russell Westbrook helped put the Oklahoma City Thunder on the map. The relocated Seattle SuperSonics essentially became an expansion team. Upon relocating, the Sonics stripped their team down, planning to build around Kevin Durant. When they landed in OKC, KD went to work. Quickly, Russell Westbrook became his sidekick. Within three years, the Thunder were in the NBA Finals. After that, the team began a gradual decline, which accelerated when KD joined the Warriors.
Russell Westbrook remained with the Thunder for three years after Kevin Durant left. Since 2019, Westbrook has been a journeyman. He has played for the Houston Rockets, Washington Wizards, and the Los Angeles Lakers and Clippers. A former MVP, Russ is now a role player. Last night, Westbrook was being heckled by some fans. As a result, Russ complained to the security. After that, he got them kicked out. There was an additional person that Westbrook told “you too” and they left.
