Grammy-nominated artist and entrepreneur Ryan Leslie took the stage at the Maconomics Wealth Summit in Chicago, captivating audiences with his financial empowerment. Sharing his journey from music into the tech world, Ryan proves how important expanding a brand truly is.
Ryan Leslie is a producer, songwriter and singer that started an incredible new wave of music in the early 2000’s. Often credited with the discovery of Cassie, Ryan co-wrote and produced her hit single “Me & U”, as well as her only album Cassie. His debut self-titled studio album topped Billboard charts. That album included the singles “Diamond Girl” and “Addiction” featuring Fabolous and Cassie. In addition to making his own hits, Ryan has written songs for Chris Brown, Beyoncé, Brittney Spears, LL Cool J, Usher and many others. In 2013, he founded the company Superphone, changing the way artist interact with fans. Since this creation, Ryan continues to expand in the tech world.
The summit curated by entrepreneur and financial guru Ross Mac, merges education and entertainment to promote economic freedom. Spanning over the course of three days, the summit included a panel with Earn Your Leisure and other financial experts. His summit brings together influencers, experts and everyday individuals to bridge the wealth gap through knowledge and action. As the summit ended with a basketball game, celebrities like Tone Kapone, Cortez Smith from The Chi, K Camp and Jeremih were in attendance.
