Oh man, the memories! Anyone who grew up in the early 2000s already knows what this is! San Andreas is trending on Twitter, but it has nothing to do with this classic game, which ended up being the precursor to the Straight Outta Compton film, in some ways.
Back in 2013, Hip-HopVibe.com had the opportunity to speak with the man who brought San Andreas’ CJ to life, Young Maylay. The city of the game’s hometown, Los Santos, was revived in GTA 5. In 2016, HHV spoke with Shawn Fonteno, who voiced Franklin, that main character.
San Andreas trending had many fans hopeful of a sequel to the original game, and not just Los Santos revisited. At the very least, fans hoped to have a sequel to the movie of the same name. While that’s not the case, Twitter is having their chance to dream.
