Saweetie explains not rushing release of upcoming debut album, “Pretty B*tch Music”

Saweetie explains delay of her debut album

Saweetie has been making a lot of impressive moves lately. This includes making a cameo appearing during the current second season of “Bel-Air.” She also had a virtual performance on Roblox, for last month’s Super Bowl. In addition to that, the Bay Area rapper also performed at Rolling Loud California, earlier this month.

However, fans are still waiting on the release of Saweetie’s debut studio album, “Pretty B*tch Music.” This has been teased since 2021, but Saweetie is still waiting on the right time to put that project out. In a new interview with E!, which was released on Monday, she emphasized how she doesn’t want to rush putting out this debut album.

“I feel like a debut album is not something you just put out. It’s not something you play with. I’m a Cancer so I like to overthink sometimes, but I think you have to be really careful with that and I take my art really serious. I’ve been through a lot of interesting experiences. So, I wanna put that all into my album in the most artistic and organic way.”

Last fall, Saweetie did release her new “The Single Life” EP. The plan was to release Pretty B*tch Music at the end of 2022 as well, but that did not end up being the case.
