Since late 2017, Saweetie has slowly emerged as a force in the game, beginning with #ICYGRL. These challenges have put Saweetie in a prime position. While much of the conversation is dominated by stalwarts, Nicki Minaj and Cardi B, Saweetie is also in the mix.
Along with Saweetie, there is Megan Thee Stallion and City Girls, where Yung Miami has taken the lead. While Saweetie clearly isn’t getting as much press as those ladies, she does have the numbers. In last night’s performance, she proved this.
Saweetie had a show in Charlottesville, Virginia, and she had a sold out audience. Doing her routine, Saweetie has proven herself to be a formidable star in the game. The video clip on IG was met with warm reception.
