Sean Lampkin had a small, but significant role on Martin Lawrence’s iconic sitcom, “Martin.” To the world, he became best known as Nipsey. However, Lampkin was actually one of Lawrence’s close friends. It was overlooked by most, but Lampkin normally had minor roles in many of the major films Martin Lawrence starred in. According to reports, Sean Lampkin was Martin Lawrence’s right hand man. This morning, news has broken about his passing.

Sean Lampkin was instrumental in shaping the culture, via his role on “Martin.” Despite having a high profile role, Lampkin was able to live a normal life, more or less. However, he was still there every time Martin Lawrence needed him. Most recently, Sean Lampkin was there on the Bad Boys 4 Life set. While he did not make an appearance in the movie, he was doing makeup, behind the scenes. In addition, he served as Martin’s stylist for the film.

Sean Lampkin’s life came to an untimely end, this morning. His passing marks the second member of the “Martin” series to pass away. Obviously, Thomas Mikal Ford, who played the iconic role of ‘Tommy’ was the first cast member to transition. Now, a little over six years later, Sean Lampkin has seen his journey come to an end. The details surrounding his passing are currently unavailable and funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date.
