Shannon Sharpe is a retired NFL player, but the regular entertainment world only got to know him in 2016. When Skip Bayless left ESPN for Fox Sports’ FS1, he and Shannon Sharpe teamed up for their show, “Undisputed.” As a result, Sharpe took on the Stephen A. Smith role on the show. In turn, he has become one of those sports analysts that’s always involved in controversy. This season, fans think he and Skip Bayless are feuding in real life.
Shannon Sharpe faced a lot of backlash, due to him getting into an altercation with the entire Memphis Grizzlies roster. At the time, they were playing the Los Angeles Lakers, in LA. The game had to be paused in what would have been the first major NBA altercation with fans since 2004’s Malice in the Palace. Thankfully, it didn’t come to that. Instead, Sharpe shook hands with Tee Morant and took a picture with him, as the game ended. On “Undisputed,” Sharpe began the show with an apology.
