Shonnka Dukreh has seen all of her dreams come true. At the age of 44, Shonnka Dukreh finally achieved levels of fame. In 2021, she was cast as ‘Big Mama Thornton’ in the Elvis biopic. Just this month, Elvis hit theaters, and Shonnka Dukreh had breakout success in the role.

Shonnka Dukreh shocked the world, yesterday. Reports began to surface about Shonnka Dukreh’s death. According to reports, Dukreh’s small child found her lifeless. As a result, Shonnka Dukreh’s child alerted neighbors who called 911.

Shonnka Dukreh was pronounced dead on the scene and the news began to circulate. In addition to being in the Elvis movie, Shonnka Dukreh was in Doja Cat’s “Vegas” music video. Dukreh made a cameo also playing ‘Big Mama Thornton’ in the video. At the age of 44, Shonnka Dukreh appeared to have everything going for her. Shonkka Dukreh’s death is currently being investigated by the Nashville PD. Currently, the Nashville Police Department say there is no foul play evident in her death. However, they are awaiting an official autopsy for cause of death.
