Shy Glizzy announces new “Flowers” album

Shy Glizzy has definitely been making a major buzz for himself, again, lately. Last month, his breakout 2014 “White Girl” single went platinum. That same week, the Washington, D.C. rapper also released the video for it. Fans applauded this milestone, as he remains one of the D.C./Maryland Virginia area’s most talented rappers.

Earlier this month, Glizzy also performed at Gervonta Davis’ fight vs Hector Luis Garcia, in D.C. This was while the two were walking to the ring, as Glizzy performed “First 48, Pt. 2.”

However, Glizzy continues to keep momentum rolling. He recently announced his new “Flowers” album, during Akademiks’ “Off The Record” podcast. To close out 2022, Glizzy also released singles such as “Slime-U-Out” featuring 21 Savage, “Underrated” and “Steppin On Sh*t.” Glizzy’s last project came back in September 2021, which was his “Don’t Feed The Sharks” compilation album. This featured members of his Glizzy Gang record label.

Glizzy also spoke on Beyoncé performing his “Awwsome” single, back when she was on tour, in 2015. This was at the Global Citizen Festival in Central Park. This was when Bey was performing “Feelin’ Myself.”
