Rick Ross received the most media attention for his early 2011 signings of Meek Mill and Wale, but they were not his only signings that year. Later in the year, Rick Ross added more members to the team. In the fall, Rick Ross signed both DJ Scream and Stalley to the label and began his takeover.
Since signing with Maybach Music, Stalley has become a little more than a background figure on the hip hop scene. A representative of Ohio, Stalley has put out a couple of mixtapes, but has not had the commercial success of his label mates. The fans love him though, which is all that matters.
Stalley is currently riding the wave of his single, “Swangin” with Scarface. During a recent studio session with Rick Ross, Stalley talked about the new song. Getting Scarface on the track was a major coup and Stalley discussed the importance of having the Houston legend on his track.
