STARZ officially announces renewal of “P-Valley,” for a third season

P-Valley officially gets renewed for third season

Over the past two years, “P-Valley” has become one of the most popular series, on TV, as it’s written by Katori Hall. Airing on STARZ, season 2 aired this summer, as fans anxiously waited, for the past two years. P-Valley had an impressive summer 2020 debut, and its momentum easily carried over, into its second season.

The location of P-Valley is held at a Mississippi strip club, The Pink. Many of the dancers and employees of the club go through through various obstacles at this venue, as well as in their tumultuous personal lives. Many fan-favorite characters so far, include Keyshawn, Lil Murda, Uncle Clifford, Mercedes, and more. In season two, there were also celebrity guest cameos, such as Snoop Dogg and Megan Thee Stallion.

However, season 2 of P-Valley concluded in August, as fans immediately wondered if a third season would be renewed. On Thursday, STARZ and the show officially announced that this would be the case. In a statement released by Katori Hall, it will be a “Mississippi minute,” before the hit series makes its return, once again.

“We wouldn’t be getting back up on that pony, without our fiercely devoted Pynk Posse. Y’all are our fire. And special thanks to the fuel: everyone who laid hands on this show. From the producers to the cast to the crew to the executives, this show is made with great love, grit and glitter. It’s gonna take us a Mississippi minute before we’re back on your screens again, but best believe it’ll be well worth the wait.”
