Suge Knight is planning a documentary style series inspired by 50 Cent’s “BMF” series

Suge Knight tells life story in new tv series

The documentary style trend of tv series is giving fans an inside look at some of the most iconic celebrities. One show in particular BMF created by 50 Cent,  has inspired another possible documentary. Former record executive Suge Knight is planning to share his life in a new tv series. Inspired by the popular show, Suge Knight along with his brother Brian Brown will detail Suge’s upbringing, his rise of fame in Death Row and the tragic events that followed.

Suge Knight is one of the most controversial figures in hip-hop and rap. Famously known for co-founding Death Row Records with Dr. Dre in 1991, the label dominated the music industry in the 90’s. Supporting acts like 2Pac, Snoop Dog, Nate Dog, and Mc Hammer, the label produced multiple platinum projects. Despite their incredible line up, Suge Knight’s business style ultimately lead to the label’s early demise. Shortly after 2Pac’s passing, various accusations and assault charges were brought against Suge Knight. In 2018, Suge Knight was charged with manslaughter, receiving a sentence of twenty-eight years.

Despite his tragic recent events, his life story is one worthy of a documentary. Currently Suge along with his brother are looking for actors to play 2Pac along with other prominent Death Row figures. The series will begin shooting this summer.
