SZA’s “Kill Bill” reaches platinum eligibility

This weekend, SZA officially reached a fifth straight week at number one in the US, with her “SOS” album. This sophomore project was initially released on December 9, and has been on fire since then.

One of the latest singles from SOS, has been “Kill Bill.” It’s been a massive fan-favorite on social media, with many wanting this to become a single. That ended up being the case, as SZA also released the video for it, this past week. At the end of those visuals, SZA also previewed her upcoming “Seek & Destroy” video.

Now, Kill Bill has reached another new milestone. According to Chart Data, it has now sold over 1 million units in the US. This now makes it at platinum eligibility. Kill Bill has been setting various streaming records on platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music, since the day of SOS’s release.

SOS contained 23 songs in total, as other singles included “Good Days,” “I Hate U” and “Shirt.” SZA also collaborated with Travis Scott, Don Toliver, Phoebe Bridgers, and Ol’ Dirty Bastard. SOS was SZA’s first album in five and a half years, as her debut release came way back in June 2017, with “Ctrl.”
