SZA has been taking over the charts over the past month, with her new sophomore album, “SOS.” It was initially released on December 9, snd has since been at number one in the US, on the Billboard 200 chart, did four consecutive weeks now.

However, SZA’s run isn’t slowing down anytime soon. According to Chart Data, SOS is number one, for a fifth straight week. Over the past week, the album sold 122,000 additional units. SOS had a very comfortable position, as second place was Taylor Swift’s “Midnights,” with 80,000 units.

SOS was led by singles such as “Good Days,” “I Hate U” and “Shirt.” Additional fan-favorite singles have since emerged, such as “Kill Bill” and “Nobody Gets Me.” The Kill Bill video went on to be released this week, which earned high praise on social media. Collaborations on SOS also included Travis Scott, Don Toliver, the late Ol’ Dirty Bastard, and Phoebe Bridgers.

SOS was well worth the wait for many fans, as this was SZA’s first project since the summer of 2017. At the time, she released her debut studio album, “Ctrl.” The deluxe edition went on to be released last summer, for its fifth anniversary.
