On Wednesday night in Los Angeles, SZA was honored with another major milestone in her career. She received the Billboard Woman Of The Year Award, at the Billboard Women In Music event. This took place inside of the YouTube Theater at Hollywood Park. The Women In Music event is created to honor women in the music industry “who have made significant contributions to the business and who, through their work and continued success, inspire generations of women to take on increasing responsibilities within the field.”
SZA went on to give her acceptance speech at the end of the night, as she also humbly shouted out other women. This included Olivia Rodrigo, Coi Leray, Latto, Doechii, and more.
SZA has also been dominant lately, with her new “SOS” album. This was released in December, and went on to spend its first seven weeks at number one. This week, it is also on its way to being at its 11th total week at number one. This was SZA’s first project since 2017’s debut album, “Ctrl,” and SOS is also her first number one album. Currently, she is also venturing on her SOS North American Tour, which kicked off last week.
