This past weekend, former President Barack Obama revealed his annual summer playlist, for 2023. Among the artists he included in it were SZA, for her buzzing “Snooze” single.

As a result, SZA is now speaking on being recognized by Obama, as she labeled him as her “forever president,” on Instagram. Furthermore, she also jokingly said Obama told her to hurry up in finally releasing the video for Snooze, and that she listened.

Snooze was recently revealed as the latest single off of SZA’s latest sophomore album “SOS,” which was released in December. That debuted atop of the Billboard 200 chart, and became SZA’s first number one album. It was also her first project since her 2017 debut studio album, “Ctrl.” SOS had a massive run, as it spent 11 total weeks at number one. Therefore, Snooze also recently reached 2x platinum eligibility in the US.

Furthermore, the second half of SZA’s “SOS” North American Tour is also kicking off this fall. The first date will be on September 20, with Miami being the host city, inside of the Kaseya Center.
