SZA says new album could be released “any day”

This past weekend, SZA performed at the Austin City Limits festival. There, she revealed that she would try to get her “Shirt” single and the video for it out ASAP, after it got delayed, last week. Fans are also hoping for SZA to finally put out her sophomore album out, which has constantly been delayed.

TMZ caught up with SZA on Sunday, and asked for an update about new music. The Top Dawg Entertainment artist revealed that she has 100 songs in the stash, right now. She even said that the album could be coming out “any day” now.

Back in May, SZA said that she was planning to released this project, in the summer. She confidently said that it would be a “SZA Summer.” She then went on to explain that TDE is who’s been delaying it.

As of now though, there is still no official title, tracklist, or official release date, for SZA’s album. Since 2020 though, she’s put out even more hits, such as “Good Days” and “I Hate U.” She also appeared on a massive hit with Doja Cat, which was “Kiss Me More.

SZA’s last project came back in June 2017, with her debut studio album, “Ctrl.” That debuted at number three in the US, and is 3x platinum.
