SZA’s “SOS” to return to number one on Billboard 200

SZA has seen massive success over the last two months, with her new sophomore album, “SOS.” This went on to debut at number one in the US, on the Billboard 200 chart. The album also went on to spend seven straight weeks at number one.

Last week, SOS’s streak at number one ended, as KPop group TXT held that spot. However, SZA is on track to return to that number one position, once again. According to Chart Data, SOS is projected to sell 95,000 units this week.

SOS returning to the top of the Billboard 200 would also be tied for being  the longest running female number one album of the 2020s. At the time of its initial debut at number one, the album also had the biggest streaming week for an R&B album, ever.

SOS was initially led by singles such as “Good Days,” “I Hate U” and “Shirt.” The latest record to become a single from the album is “Kill Bill,” which has since reached platinum eligibility, and peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. 23 songs are on SOS, as 20 of them debuted on the Hot 100, after the first week of the album’s release.

SZA’s SOS North American Tour is also kicking off on February 21, in Columbus, OH. This will run through March 22, in Los Angeles.
