SZA’s “SOS” is number one in US for seventh straight week 

SZA has been dominating the charts over the past month, with her new sophomore album, “SOS.” This initially debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart, after its release on December 9. SOS was led by hit singles such as “Good Days,” “I Hate U” and “Shirt.”

SZA’s momentum with SOS isn’t slowing down anytime soon, as the album remains at number one in the US, for a seventh consecutive week. According to Chart Data, the album sold an additional 112,000 units, this week. SOS is also the the longest running number one album by a female artist since Taylor Swift’s “folklore.”

23 songs are available on SOS, as SZA also collaborated with Don Toliver, Travis Scott, Phoebe Bridgers, and the late Ol’ Dirty Bastard. 20 songs initially debuted on the Hot 100, after week 1 of SOS’ release. The first week of SOS’ release also saw it have the biggest R&B streaming week ever. “Kill Bill” has since been another hot single off the album, as fans loved the visuals for it, as well. This record has also since reached platinum eligibility the US, by selling over 1 million units.

SZA’s SOS North American Tour also kicks off on February 21, in Columbus, OH. The tour will run through March 22, where it’ll conclude with two shows in Los Angeles. Omar Apollo will also serve as a special guest performer.
